A young Town reserves side defeated Coventry City 1-0 at a rainy Playford Road on Wednesday afternoon. Daniel Flack scored the winner in the first half but more importantly central defender Drissa Diallo came through seemingly unscathed.

Suicidal second half defending cost Town three points at Portman Road for the second game running, Crystal Palace coming from behind to won 3-1. The Blues had gone ahead through Jermaine Wright in the first half, but the Eagles hit back with goals from Andy Johnson (2) and Julian Gray.
